History of Ministry Risk Management:
¨ Ministry Risk Management was founded in 2001 by Rob Paris in Colorado Springs, CO to serve the insurance and risk management needs of churches and ministry related organizations. In 2008 Ministry Risk Management merged with Cornerstone Insurance Associates to form the largest independent insurance agency in Colorado devoted exclusively to serving Christian organizations, having offices in Colorado Springs and Westminster, CO. On October 1, 2010, Ministry Risk Management acquired the assets of Cornerstone, and effective December 31, 2010 Borrett & Son, another ministry specialist insurance agency, merged with Ministry Risk Management, which will now have offices in the Fort Collins, Denver and Colorado Springs areas.

Rob Paris has specialized in ministry insurance and risk management for fifteen years. Rob has twenty five years of experience in the insurance business. In 1987 he and his wife Lisa moved from Evergreen, Colorado to Lexington, Kentucky, where he spent eight years with Keystone Insurance Agency. During this time he moved from sales production to owner of the agency. He sold the agency in 1995 and began specializing in ministry risk management and insurance. Rob and Lisa had the desire to relocate back to Colorado where they could enjoy the mountain lifestyle they missed so much. Therefore Rob pursued an opportunity to serve the insurance and risk management needs of the Christian community in Colorado Springs. Rob and Lisa now live in Woodland Park, Colorado where they enjoy riding their horses and camping. Rob has served in a leadership position on church boards where he attended since becoming a Christian in 1980. Rob is actively involved with the National Association of Church Business Administration and the Christian Leadership Alliance. He has devoted himself to providing the insurance and risk management needs of Christian organizations and currently works with churches and ministries as well as Christian publishers.

Mary Gannon joined Rob Paris as his assistant in 2003 and has enjoyed being part of the continual growth in the dynamic church and ministry insurance business. Mary’s main focus is managing Rob’s large accounts, but she also contributes to risk management and sales within the agency. Mrs. Gannon is a licensed Property & Casualty and Life & Health producer. In addition, she is a board member of the Christian Leadership Alliance and is active at New Life Church in Colorado Springs. Mary is originally from San Jose, California and attended both San Jose City College and Cal Poly in San Luis Obispo, California. Her husband, Pete, is an International Christian Video Producer for Next Direction LLC and one of the founders of The Band of Brothers Ministry. They have four grown children and one son-in-law who all reside near them in Monument, Colorado, where they have called home for over 15 years.

Kim Daulton has had the opportunity to transition within this agency since 1985. Working all aspects of the internal agency system over the years; she has enjoyed the diversity of learning as the industry has grown and changed. She has experience in personal and commercial lines of insurance and has supplemented that knowledge with the internal structure of an agency such as computer systems, accounting and human resources. She has over 25 years of experience in the insurance industry. Kim is a licensed agent with a CISR designation. Her current position encompasses agency accounting, technology, customer service and human resources. Kim is a Colorado native. She enjoys the Colorado backcountry, learning, reading, painting, photography and spending time with family.

Abbey Rocke began working in the church and ministry insurance business two years ago, after completing her bachelor’s degree at Samford University in Birmingham, AL. She is a licensed agent and completed her Certified Insurance Service Representative designation in the spring of 2010. Abbey’s primary focus is servicing the agency’s Brotherhood Mutual policies. Abbey is active in the children’s and sports ministries at her church. She also is devoted to working with organizations that reach out to the international community.

Jack Borrett, a proud Colorado native, was born and raised in Fort Collins. He attended the University of Nebraska and in 1999 he obtained his B.S. degree in Communication Studies. Jack has been an insurance producer for 6 years and specializes in the insurance needs of Churches and related Christian ministries. He is also a board member of the Christian Leadership Alliance in Denver and has been attending Resurrection Fellowship in Loveland for 26 years.

Ken Borrett has been an insurance producer specializing in the area of church and ministry insurance for the last 20 years. Mr. Borrett is a graduate of the University of Nebraska and holds a B.S. degree in Business Administration. Mr. Borrett has been working in the insurance industry since 1966, in various capacities with insurance companies and agencies, mainly dealing with commercial property and casualty lines. Most notably, he has been a partner in The Galyardt & Harvey Agency, Inc. in Fort Collins, has served on the National Agents Advisory Council for CNA Insurance Company, and has earned his Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC) designation in Property & Casualty Insurance. Mr. Borrett resides in Fort Collins, Colorado with his wife, Kay.
